You'll be able to charge them back up with a standard USB cable, getting around the whole battery change thing.
Can a pair of 3D glasses really be called "universal" if they only handle active 3D systems? No matter what the answer to that question, NextGen boasts a new pair of universal 3D glasses that work with every active set on the market today.
They weigh in at 55 grams and have a pretty standard look to them, even if the frames do seem a bit thick. What's most interesting about the glasses though, is that they're the first rechargeable universal 3D glasses on the market.
They charge with a standard USB cable so you won't have to worry about finding the right cord and NextGen says that three hours of charging will get you a full 50 hours of use.
The glasses will be available on August 1st at a price of $79.
