Frank Castle will seek vengeance on Netflix later this year.
Following an initial teaser, Netflix has released a full trailer for Marvel's The Punisher. The series stars Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, reprising the role he originated on Daredevil. Steve Lightfoot (Hannibal) and Jeph Loeb serve as the show's Executive Producers.
After exacting revenge on those responsible for the death of his wife and children, Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) uncovers a conspiracy that runs far deeper than New York’s criminal underworld. Now known throughout the city as The Punisher, he must discover the truth about injustices that affect more than his family alone.

The Punisher is now the sixth Marvel series set to debut on Netflix, following Daredevil, the Peabody Award-winning Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and the team-up mini-series The Defenders. Executive Producer Steve Lightfoot also serves as showrunner and writer for the series' first two episodes. In addition to Jon Bernthal, the show also features Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ben Barnes, and Jason R. Moore. Likewise, Deborah Ann Woll will star as Karen Paige, reprising her role from Daredevil. Marvel's The Punisher is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios for Netflix. An exact release date has not been announced yet, but the show is set to hit Netflix in 2017.
