Get a virtual look at every nook and cranny of Microsoft's new system.
The Xbox One has been unveiled, and unlike its direct competition the PS4, the entire look of the console has been publicized by Microsoft. Along those lines of sharing the newest Xbox, Microsoft's Major Nelson has shared an interactive render of the Xbox One.
Within the render, which Major Nelson has specified is unofficial, the system's case, controller and Kinect module can be viewed from any angle. The system itself, which exhibits a dark, boxy look befitting a living room device, has often been compared to a variety of other set-top boxes. In its extreme, the VCR has also been mentioned as similar in look. Of course the system hosts USB 3.0 and HDMI In and Out among its many non-VCR like features.
The system's vacuum style Blu-ray drive is its most prominent feature as even the front USB port is relegated to the side.
The system's controller has been embraced as traditional in the ways that gamers appreciate the most while the Kinect module has been the target of much concern over its forced connection and always-on possibilities.
