Two new AV receiver models have been revealed.
Marantz has announced the launch of the latest additions to its home theater lineup. The new slimline NR1608 ($749) and NR1508 ($549) network AV receivers are both set to start shipping this month.
The 7.2 channel NR1608 and 5.2 channel NR1508 both feature Marantz's convenient slimline design for easy placement. Likewise, the receivers also offer support for 4K/60 Hz full-rate pass-through with 4:4:4 color resolution, HDR and BT.2020, plus Dolby Vision and Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG via future firmware update). Network streaming capabilities, Bluetooth playback, and Airplay connectivity are integrated as well. In addition, the devices both include support for the HEOS wireless multi-room audio system. Finally, the NR1608 adds Dolby Atmos and DTS:X playback for up to a 5.1.2 immersive audio system.
