Lionsgate Sets Second Blu-ray Wave

The high-def format war continues to heat up as Lionsgate announces
its second wave of Blu-ray releases, a quartet of box office hits due in stores
late summer.Arriving August 22, the studio's second slate includes 'Total Recall,' 'Stir of Echoes' and unrated director's cuts of 'Stargate' and 'The Devil's Rejects.'
All four titles will be presented on BD-25 single-layer discs in their original theatrical aspect ratios and encoded at 1080p. Soundtrack options on each include Dolby Digital EX Surround and DTS HD High Resolution ES soundtracks.
Unlike Lionsgate first wave of Blu-ray titles, its second batch will include at least some extras from the standard DVD releases, including audio commentaries, featurettes and deleted scenes.
Lionsgate has set a new $29.95 suggest list price for all four releases.
