On the line – a $1,000,000 top prize and some very serious bragging rights.

Competitive gaming has been growing like mad over the last few years and 'League of Legends' has been leading the charge. The game has gone from one of two potential MoBA games to lead the scene to the dominant game in the genre. Today, one of the biggest gaming events of the year has gone live.

Today, Friday and Saturday, you can tune in free and in HD to watch the very best teams from across the world compete for a shot at a cool million dollars. Next weekend, on October 13th, the two winners of this weekend's playoffs will compete head to head.

Viewership is already impressive, with over 300,000 people viewing the stream at the time of this writing. Group play has begun and tomorrow we see the beginning of bracket play.
