Several new sound bar models are now available.
LG has announced the launch of its SJ Sound Bar collection. The lineup includes the SJ9 sound bar with Dolby Atmos, the SJ8 sound bar, and the SJ7 "Flex" sound bar.
"The versatility and innovation of the SJ9, SJ8 and SJ7 offer consumers more ways to enjoy music and movies than ever before," said Tim Alessi, head of product marketing at LG Electronics USA. "By blending state-of-the-art technology with incredible design, LG's 2017 sound bar lineup pairs perfectly with our industry-leading LG OLED and LG SUPER UHD TVs. Together, they deliver superb picture quality with the highest levels of sound fidelity to create a totally immersive home cinema experience."
The flagship SJ9 features multiple speakers, including two powerful up-firing speakers, and a wireless subwoofer to offer a 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos experience. In addition, the device uses a Hi-Fi DAC with support for High Resolution audio. Meanwhile, the SJ8 is a 4.1 channel sound bar system with a slim profile, wireless subwoofer, and high res audio playback. Finally, the SJ7 is a 320W sound bar system with a dual speaker design that can be set up as a conventional sound bar or as separate front and rear speakers.

LG SJ7 Sound Bar Flex (MSRP $450, currently on sale for $360)
· 320W sound bar
· Two-part speaker that can be arranged to set up surround audio
· Built-in battery and Bluetooth capability
