Known as the GFHD100, the Humax manufactured box has just passed through the FCC.
The folks over at Engadget did some digging and found a recent FCC filing that reveals that a Google branded set-top box is on the way. It's branded with the words Google Fiber and packs capabilities similar to the set-tops used by Verizon FiOS.
We already know that Google is rolling out TV service to cities in Kansas and it looks like this may be the box being used for that very purpose. The GFHD100 itself packs Wi-Fi, IR, USB, Ethernet and HDMI functionalities, including both an HDMI input and output.
