Only days after Fox yanked it from its Blu-ray schedule, 'Master & Commander' is ready to set sail again in high-def in early 2008.
One of the most highly-anticipated catalog titles of the season, 'Master & Commander: The Far Side of the World' was originally slotted for an October 2 Blu-ray debut. Then, just this week, Fox pulled the title from its schedule, citing "production delays" in completing the disc's planned interactive BD-Java features.
Now the disc has received a new date of February 5, 2008, with all previously-announced tech specs and features unchanged.
Included among the disc's supplements will be multiple featurettes and the film's original theatrical trailer, plus several Blu-ray exclusives including a Historical and Geographical Pop-Up Map," a "Search Content" feature, and D-Box enhancement.
MSRP also remains unchanged at $39.98.
You'll find complete disc details for 'Master & Commander' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where it is indexed under its new date of February 5.
