MGM has served up final specs for the March Blu-ray release of 'The Silence of the Lambs,' which will make its way to high-def with hours of bonus materials.
As originally announced late last year, MGM/Fox confirmed that the Oscar-winning classic would debut on Blu-ray on March 3, though specs were scarce.
The full details are now in, with the film receiving a BD-50 dual-layer presentation with 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video and a English DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround track.
The extensive extras will pull most of the extras from previous DVD editions, including multiple featurettes ("Breaking The Silence," "Understanding the Madness," "Inside The Labyrinth: Making The Silence Of The Lambs"), an additional two-part documentary "The Silence Of The Lambs: Page To Screen," nearly two dozen deleted scenes, outtakes, and trailers and TV spots.
Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $39.95.
