Fox Unveils Blu-ray Box Art
Thu Sep 14, 2006 at 02:21 AM ETTags: Disc Announcements, Fox (all tags)
Two weeks after announcing their first Blu-ray disc titles, Fox Home
Entertainment has unveiled the box cover art for its initial waves of disc releases.
Jumping on the "Beyond High Definition" tagline advocated by the official Blu-ray Disc Association, Fox's packaging doesn't offer too many unexpected surprises -- the same key art as the standard DVD versions, with only the dark blue outer shell a departure from the format's standard "sky blue" accent color. (Though whether or not the actual physical product will dark blue as well, or if the color is just a tint added to the images supplied to us by Fox, remains to be seen.)
As previously announced in late August, the studio will release two separate waves totaling eight titles beginning on November 14, including 'Behind Enemy Lines,' 'Fantastic Four,' 'Kiss of the Dragon,' 'The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen,' 'Speed,' 'The Transporter' and the 2006 remake of 'The Omen.'
Full specs for all of Fox's first Blu-ray titles, now including box art, have been updated to their respective listings in our Blu-ray Release Schedule.
