It's being developed by ZeniMax, rather than Bethesda, which should prove interesting.
Since the first 'Elder Scrolls' game came out, there have been fans hoping for a way to share that adventure with a friend or two. The recent announcement by ZeniMax reveals that you'll be getting a bit more than you bargained for.
A fully fledged 'Elder Scrolls' MMORPG is on the way, and has already been in the works for several years. Not too terribly much has been revealed, but we do know that there will be three opposing factions and that PvP of 100 vs 100 will be possible.
Fan response has been mixed and even trends towards the negative. Past games, including the smash hit 'Skyrim' have all revolved around the main character as the one true hero that could save the world – an MMO takes that away.
We'll see more of what ZeniMax has in store for us as time goes on, with more details almost certain to be revealed at E3.
