Disney will be bringing the hit Pixar sequel to high-definition in two versions this November!
Disney/Buena Vista is planning to release 'Toy Story 3' starring the voices of Tom Hanks and Tim Allen on Blu-ray on November 2.
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 soundtrack, and loads of supplements including: Day & Night theatrical short; Epilogue - The toys' hilarious send-off; "Toys!" - A close look at how the classic characters were updated and new toys were developed; Buzz Lightyear Mission Logs - The science of adventure; Paths to Pixar - Editorial: Pixar editors share stories of their illustrious careers; Studio Stories - Cereal Bar and Clean Start; and A Toy's Eye View - A sneak peek at Playland in Hong Kong Disney.
Blu-ray exclusive features will include: Cine-Explore - With commentary by director Lee Unkrich and producer Darla Anderson; Beyond the Toy Box: An Alternative Commentary Track Featuring Leads from Story, Tech, Art and Animation; The Gang's All Here - A look at the returning voice talent; Beginnings: Setting a Story in Motion; Bonnie's Playtime - A roundtable discussion with the director and story artists; Roundin' Up a Western Opening; Goodbye Andy - An exploration of character design; The Accidental Toymakers of Pixar - Meet the makers of the original Buzz Lightyear; Life of a Shot - Get an inside look at the production pipeline; Making of Day & Night; Studio Stories: Where's Gordon?; and Toy Story Trivia Dash - Sprint to the finish with Woody, Buzz, Rex and Jesse as you answer questions about all three Toy Story movies.
The release will also be available in a 4-Disc Combo Pack for those who wish to add a DVD and Digital Copy.
Suggested list price for the releases is $39.99 and $45.99.
