Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has unveiled plans to release no less than five different permutations of 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs' when it brings the classic to Blu-ray this October.
In addition to the standard Blu-ray/DVD combo version previously announced, which comes housed in Blu-ray keepcase packaging, the studio will also make a 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (DVD Packaging)' version available, which comes housed in a standard DVD case for households not yet ready to make the switch to the high-def format.
In addition, Disney is making three separate special editions available for collectors. Each comes house with deluxe packaging and other collectible items.
The 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Collectors Book Set)' comes with the Blu-ray/DVD combo plus a hardcover book. Suggested list price is $59.99.
For an MSRP of $79.99, 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Dwarf Plush Gift Set)' will get you the Blu-ray release, along with a plush toy of one of the film's seven dwarfs.
FInally, specs for the mammoth 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Limited Edition Collectors Set)' has yet to be outlined, but with an MSRP of $249.99, is sure to be packed with assorted goodies and treasures.
As announced, all five releases are set to debut simultaneously on October 6.
