Disney has announced a July next-gen release for the urban romance 'Step Up 2: The Streets,' which will hit Blu-ray with extensive bonus features.
Grossing nearly $60 million at the domestic box office this past winter, Disney will debut 'Step Up 2: The Streets' in a Blu-ray "Dance-Off Edition" on July 15, day-and-date with the standard DVD.
Among the supplements shared across both versions are 3 featurettes ("Thru Fresh Eyes," "Outlaws of Hip Hop: Meet the 410s," "Robert Hoffman Video Prank"), deleted scenes, bloopers, and 5 music videos ("Low" by Flo Rida featuring T.Pain, "Ching-a-Ling" by Missy Elliott, "Killa" featuring Yung Joc, "Hypnotized" featuring Akon, and "Let it Go" by Brit and Alex).
Tech specs boast 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video and English uncompressed PCM 5.1 Surround audio, plus English, French and Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround and subtitle options.
Disney has also issued the Blu-ray box art for 'Step Up 2: The Streets':
Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $34.99.
