Disney has sent retailers notice that they're planning to bring Oliver Stone's 'Nixon' to Blu-ray this August in a Director' Cut version with additional footage.
Dubbed the "Election Year Edition," the Stone-approved 'Nixon: Director's Cut' will include 26 minutes of material excised from the theatrical version. Disney will debut the Blu-ray on August 19, day-and-date with a new standard DVD re-issue.
The studio has yet to issue a press announcement for 'Nixon,' so there are no tech specs or supplement details known. As always, we'll keep you posted.
Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $34.98.
