In an early alert to retailers, Disney has revealed plans to bring a trio of catalog titles to Blu-ray this April.
Due on April 1st are three titles from the studio's Touchstone label -- the Viggo Mortensen-starrer 'Hidalgo,' the Bruce Willis/M. Night Shyamalan thriller 'Unbreakable' and the ensemble comedy 'Coyote Ugly.'
Disney has yet to issue an official press release for the trio of titles, so we'll have to wait a bit for tech specs and supplement details. (All three movies have seen Special Edition releases on standard DVD, so we can only hope for the same from these Blu-ray releases.)
The studio has set a low $29.99 suggested list price for each of the three titles.
While we await complete disc details, we've added new listings for 'Hidalgo,' 'Unbreakable' and 'Coyote Ugly' under April 1, 2008 to our comprehensive Blu-ray release schedule.
We've also set up dedicated threads for all three titles in our forums area -- click the following links to discuss the 'Hidalgo' Blu-ray release, the 'Unbreakable' Blu-ray release or the 'Coyote Ugly Blu-ray release.
