2012 is going to be a busy year for the Knights of the Round Table on Blu-ray!
In an early announcement to retailers, Warner Brothers is preparing 'Camelot: 45th Anniversary Edition' on Blu-ray on April 24.
Director Joshua Logan's big screen adaptation of T.H. White's novel The Once and Future King stars Richard Harris, Vanessa Redgrave, and Franco Nero and won Academy Awards for Best Art Direction-Set Decoration, Best Costume Design, and Best Music Score.
Specs have yet to be revealed, but the release will be a digibook and supplements will include an audio commentary, Camelot: The Fallen Kingdom, Camelot: The Castle That Never Was, The Story of Camelot, The World Premiere of Camelot, and theatrical trailer.
The release will also include a CD sampler with four tracks: "I Wonder What the King is Doing Tonight?", "Camelot and the Wedding Ceremony", "How To Handle a Woman", and "If Ever I Would Leave You - Love Montage".
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is still undetermined at this time.
