The critically-acclaimed drama from Derek Cianfrance rides to Blu-ray in August.
In an early announcement to retailers, Universal Studios says 'The Place Beyond the Pines' will have a Blu-ray release on August 6.
Motorcycle stuntman Luke (Ryan Gosling) gives up his job in order to provide for his newborn son and the boy's mother (Eva Mendes). Elsewhere, Avery (Bradley Cooper), an ambitious rookie cop, struggles to make his way in a corrupt police department. Their two worlds collide when Luke takes part in a string of bank robberies, the consequences of which echoes into the next generation. From the director of 'Blue Valentine,' this sweeping and emotional epic has critics raving.
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements include: Feature Commentary with Cianfrance as well as Deleted and Extended Scenes.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $34.98.
