It's the end of the world as we know it... and Steve Carell feels fine.
In an early announcement to retailers, Universal says 'Seeking a Friend for the End of the World' is coming to Blu-ray on October 23.
As an asteroid nears Earth, a man finds himself alone after his wife leaves in a panic. He decides to take a road trip to reunite with his high school sweetheart. Accompanying him is a neighbor who inadvertently puts a wrench in his plan.
Specs have yet to be revealed, but supplements for the Blu-ray/DVD/Ultraviolet Digital Copy combo pack include: Feature Commentary: With writer/director Lorene Scafaria, her mother Gail Scafaria, producer Joy Gorman Wettels, and actors Adam Brody and Patton Oswalt; Outtakes; A Look Inside Seeking a Friend for the End of the World: Go behind the scenes with actors Steve Carell, Keira Knightley, Rob Corddry, Patton Oswalt, and writer/director Lorene Scafaria; Music for the End of the World: What's on Your Playlist?: Steve Carell, Keira Knightley, Patton Oswalt, and other stars from the movie discuss what songs they'd want to hear when the world ends; BD Live; Pocket BLU; and uHEAR.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $34.98.
