According to early distributor reports, Universal is set to bring the blockbuster musical 'Mamma Mia! The Movie' to Blu-ray in mid-December.
Based on the classic pop songs of ABBA, 'Mamma Mia!' continues to fly high in cinemas (having already grossed over $300 million worldwide and counting) and will see its Blu-ray debut on December 16 (day-and-date with the standard DVD).
As Universal has yet to issue an official media announcement for the title, there's no confirmation yet on tech specs or supplement details. There is also no word on whether a karaoke function will be offered to dub over Pierce Brosnan's singing. We'll keep you posted.
Suggested retail price for each Blu-ray has been set at $39.98.
You'll find preliminary specs for 'Mamma Mia! The Movie' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where it's indexed under December 16.
