Sony Pictures has announced a June debut for the AMC epic Western 'Broken Trail.'
The cable network's first-ever original mini-series, 'Broken Trail' was nominated for 16 Emmy awards, and stars Robert Duvall and Thomas Hayden Church as a pair of reluctant guardians to five abused and abandoned Chinese girls. Directed by Walter Hill, Sony has set a June 10 street date for the Blu-ray.
Extras will match those found on the previous DVD edition released in September 2006, which include a single featurette, "Broken Trail: The Making of a Legendary Western."
Tech specs for the BD-50 dual-layer presentation feature 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video and English, French, Spanish and Portuguese Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround audio.
Suggested retail price has been set at $28.95.
