Details have emerged on the two movies hitting Blu-ray shelves just a few months before 'The Muppets' comes to theaters!
As previously reported, Sony is working on 'Muppets From Space' and 'The Muppets Take Manhattan' for Blu-ray on August 16.
Gonzo is contacted by his alien family through his breakfast cereal in 'Muppets From Space' and when he is kidnapped, it's up to Kermit and the gang to rescue him and help reunite him with his long-lost family.
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements will include: outtakes, I Hate Rats! featurette, and "Shining Star" by The Dust Brothers Featuring Jeymes music video.
In Frank Oz's solo directorial debut 'The Muppets Take Manhattan,' Kermit and his friends go to New York to get their musical on Broadway only to find it's a more difficult task than they anticipated.
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements will include a Jim Henson Interview and a bunch of "Muppetisims" from Fozzie Bear, Miss Piggy & Kermit the Frog, and Pepe.
Each release will be a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack and suggested list price is $19.99.
Fans of the Muppets also won't want to miss Disney's brand-new adventure starring Jason Segel (who co-wrote the screenplay), Amy Adams, and Chris Cooper coming to the big screen on November 23!
