In an early announcement to retailers, Sony has slated 'Bad Country' on Blu-ray on April 29.
When Baton Rouge police detective Bud Carter (Willem Dafoe) busts contract killer Jesse Weiland (Matt Dillon), he convinces Jesse to become an informant and rat out the South's most powerful crime ring. So when the syndicate orders Carter's death and Weiland's ID'd as a snitch, the two team up to take down the mob and the crime boss (Tom Berenger) who ordered the hit.
Specs have yet to be revealed, but supplements will include deleted scenes and "Taking Down An Empire: On the Set" Featurette – Go behind-the-scenes with the cast and crew to hear about the process of taking the film from script to screen and shooting on location in Louisiana.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is still undetermined at this time.
