The winner for Best Foreign Language Film at the 85th Academy Awards is coming to Blu-ray in August.
In an early announcement to retailers, Sony is preparing 'Amour' for Blu-ray on August 20.
Georges (Jean-Louis Trintignant) and Anne (Emmanuelle Riva) are in their eighties. They are cultivated, retired music teachers. Their daughter, who is also a musician, lives abroad with her family. One day, Anne has an attack. The couple's bond of love is severely tested. Written and directed by Michael Haneke.
Supplements and suggested list price have not been revealed yet, but the Blu-ray will feature 1080p video and a DTS-HD MA 5.1 soundtrack.
