The next chapter in the Doomsday series heads to Blu-ray in July.
In an early announcement to retailers, Sonar Entertainment will be releasing 'Eve of Destruction' on Blu-ray on July 16.
Searching for new power sources, two scientists begin drilling in to the universe as an attempt to discover unlimited energy, but their operation is sabotaged by eco-terrorists who generate a "dark energy" black hole that has the power to annihilate the planet as a whole. As turmoil unfolds, the scientists learn that their initial quest to save the world transforms into the definitive battle for earth's continued existence against a seemingly unstoppable force.
Specs and supplements haven't been revealed yet, but the suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $29.95.
