The 1954 holiday classic will be dreaming of a high-definition Christmas this November!
In an early announcement to retailers, Paramount is readying 'White Christmas' for Blu-ray on November 2.
The musical starring Bing Crosby and Rosemary Clooney features songs by Irving Berlin and apparently was the first movie ever shot in the VistaVision format.
The Blu-ray features 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements will include: Commentary by Rosemary Clooney, Backstage Stories from White Christmas (in HD), Rosemary's Old Kentucky Home (in HD), Bing Crosby: Christmas Crooner (in HD), Danny Kaye: Joy to the World (in HD), Irving Berlin's White Christmas (in HD), White Christmas: From Page to Stage (in HD), White Christmas: A Look Back with Rosemary Clooney, and two theatrical trailers (in HD).
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is still undetermined at this time.
