Rhino has announced a street date and specs for 'Blue Man Group: How to Be a Megastar Live!', which will hit Blu-ray this May with several bonus features.
Rhino had previously confirmed plans to release 'Megastar" on Blu-ray sometime this Spring, but stopped short of detailing specs or a street date.
Marking the indie's first Blu-ray music release, 'How to Be a Megastar Live!' will hit stores on May 13 (a DVD/CD version was released by Rhino this past March).
Sharing the same extras as the DVD release, the Blu-ray will include the complete 22-track extravaganza, plus the documentary "Inside the Tube" and a pair of music videos ("I Feel Love," "Mono").
Tech specs feature 1080 video (1.78:1), and audio in both Dolby Digital and PCM (Rhino has not yet specified audio configurations, but we'll keep you posted).
Suggested retail for the Blu-ray has been set at $19.99.
