The first season of the hit HBO comedy will be elected to Blu-ray in March.
In an announcement to retailers, HBO is planning to release 'Veep: The Complete First Season' on high-definition on March 26.
The new HBO comedy 'Veep,' about a woman who becomes vice president, only to discover the job is nothing like she expected, but everything she was warned about, was hailed as "hysterical" (TV Guide) and "sophisticated" (People Magazine). Created by Armando Iannucci (Academy Award® nominee for co-writing 'In the Loop'), the series was nominated for three 2012 Emmy® Awards winning one for its star Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series).
Specs have yet to be revealed, but the Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack will include The Making of VEEP - A behind-the-scenes look at the making of the series featuring interviews with cast and crew; "Veep: Misspoke" - VP Selina Meyer clarifies remarks regarding fictional Minnesota Governor Danny Chung; "Veep: Obesity" - VP Selina Meyer's hilarious public service announcement (and outtakes) about obesity; Deleted Scenes; and Audio Commentaries - Twelve commentaries with show creator Armando Iannucci, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Anna Chlumsky, Tony Hale, executive producers Frank Rich and Chris Godsick, and more.
