'Live Free Die Hard,' 'Die Hard Trilogy' to Debut on Blu-ray This November

Yippie-ki-yay! Fox Home Entertainment has officially announced it will bring all four entries in the the blockbuster 'Die Hard' series to Blu-ray this November.
Due in stores November 20, Fox will release both the summer smash 'Live Free or Die Hard' (aka 'Die Hard 4.0') as a stand-alone Blu-ray release day-and-date with the DVD version, as well as the first three flicks in the franchise -- 'Die Hard,' 'Die Hard 2: Die Harder' and 'Die Hard with a Vengeance' -- as a triple-disc Blu-ray box set dubbed 'The Die Hard Trilogy.'
Each film will get its own BD-50 dual-layer disc, a 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 transfer and DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround soundtrack.
Among the extras on what's being billed as an unrated edition of 'Live Free or Die Hard' will be an audio commentary with director Len Wiseman and cast (participants TBA), a making-of documentary and a music video. Exclusive to the Blu-ray is the BD-Java interactive strategy game "Black Hat Intercept!"
Fox has not yet provided a specific breakdown of the supplements on the 'Die Hard Trilogy' set, other than that it should mirror the previous collection issued on standard-def DVD, which included multiple commentaries, featurettes, deleted scenes and more for each movie.
Retail is $39.98 for 'Live Free or Die Hard,' and $99.98 for the 'Die Hard Trilogy.'
As of now, the three films in the 'Die Hard Trilogy' will not be made available separately, nor will there be a four-pack that includes 'Live Free or Die Hard.'
