A reclusive writer, four foul-mouthed kids, and more are all heading to Blu-ray.
New info has been revealed for several upcoming Blu-ray releases from Eagle Rock, Metal Blade Records, Shout Factory, Paramount, Lionsgate, Film Movement, Vantage Media, CBS Home Entertainment, Republic Records, Garagehouse Pictures, Unearthed Films, and Kino.
Here's a full rundown of recently revealed details and title announcements:
First up, Eagle Rock is set to release the concert documentary Slipknot: Day of the Gusano on October 20. Supplements have not been detailed but the release will also include a music CD.
Metal Blade Records has announced plans to bring Spock’s Beard: Snow Live to Blu-ray on November 10. No other details have been announced at this time.
Vantage Media is prepping Sean Hoessli's Palm Swings starring Tia Carrere, Jason Lewis, and Sugar Lyn Beard for Blu-ray on November 14. Supplements have not been detailed yet,
Film Movement is set to release Arturo Ripstein's Time to Die on Blu-ray on November 14. The disc will feature a new 2K restoration and supplements will include:
- Audio commentary by director Arturo Ripstein and actor Enrique Rocha
- Video introduction of Time to Die by director/actor Alex Cox (Repo Man)
- Collector's Booklet with film essay by Carlos A. Gutiérrez, Co-Founder of Cinema Tropical
Republic Records is preparing Danny Clinch's music doc Pearl Jam: Let's Play Two for Blu-ray on November 17. No other details have been announced at this time.
Lionsgate is bringing Xavier Gens' The Crucifixion starring Sophie Cookson, Corneliu Ulici, and Brittany Ashworth to Blu-ray on December 5. Supplements have not been announced at this time.
Paramount is prepping Trey Parker and Matt Stone's South Park: The Complete Sixth Season, South Park: The Complete Seventh Season, South Park: The Complete Eighth Season, South Park: The Complete Ninth Season, South Park: The Complete Tenth Season, and South Park: The Complete Eleventh Season for Blu-ray on December 19. Supplements have not been detailed yet.
Shout Factory is prepping Danny Strong's Rebel in the Rye starring Sarah Paulson, Zoey Deutch, and Kevin Spacey for Blu-ray on January 2. No other details have been revealed at this time.
Unearthed Films is bringing Domiziano Cristopharo's Red Krokodil: Directors Cut starring Valerio Cassa, Viktor Karam, and Brock Madson to Blu-ray on January 23. Supplements have not been detailed yet.
CBS Home Entertainment is set to release The Californians: Season 1 and The Californians: Season 2 starring Richard Coogan, Sean McClory, and Art Fleming on Blu-ray. Supplements and an exact release date have not been announced yet.
Kino has announced a new slate of releases set to arrive on December 12. The lineup will include...
Stanley Kramer's Not as a Stranger starring Olivia de Havilland, Robert Mitchum, Frank Sinatra, Gloria Grahame, and Charles Bickford. Supplements will include:
- Audio Commentary by Film Historian Troy Howarth
- Original Theatrical Trailer
Stanley Kramer's Inherit the Wind starring Spencer Tracy, Fredric March, and Gene Kelly. Supplements will include:

Stanley Kramer's Judgment at Nuremberg starring Spencer Tracy, Burt Lancaster, and Richard Widmark. Supplements will include

A Double Feature with Louis Morneau's Soldier Boyz starring Michael Dudikoff, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa and Tyrin Turner, and Aaron Norris' Platoon Leader starring Tony Pierce, Robert F. Lyons and Michael Dudikoff. Supplements will include
- Reversible Blu-ray Art
- Theatrical Trailers for Platoon Leader, Soldier Boyz, Avenging Force, River of Death and Delta Force 2
Douglas Hickox's Brannigan starring John Wayne, Richard Attenborough, and Judy Geeson. Supplements will include:
- Audio commentary by Steve Mitchell, producer-director of King Cohen, and film historian Nathaniel Thompson
- Trailers for other Kino Lorber releases
Henry Hathaway's Legend of the Lost starring John Wayne, Sophia Loren, Rossano Brazzi, Kurt Kasznar, and Sonia Moser. Supplements will include:

In addition, Kino has also announced plans to release several new titles in early 2018. The lineup will include
Edward Ludwig's Sangaree - 3D starring Fernando Lamas, Arlene Dahl, and Patricia Medina. Full details have not been announced yet, but the 3D release will feature a restoration from original 35mm film elements.
Paul Henreid's A Woman's Devotion starring Ralph Meeker, Janice Rule, and Paul Henreid. Supplements have not been announced yet, but the disc will feature a 4K remaster.
George Miller's The Aviator starring Christopher Reeve, Rosanna Arquette, and Jack Warden. No other details have been revealed at this time.
Bill Duke's The Cemetery Club starring Ellen Burstyn, Olympia Dukakis, and Diane Ladd. Supplements have not been announced yet.
Meanwhile, Garagehouse Pictures is prepping Gus Trikonis' Supercock starring Ross Hagen, Nancy Kwan, Tony Lorea, Logan Clarke, and Joonee Gamboa for Blu-ray. An exact release date has not been announced yet, but the disc will feature a new remaster and supplements will include:
- NEW audio commentary by cult film director and actor Fred Olen Ray (Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers, Sorceress)

Likewise, the label is also preparing Trailer Trauma 4: Television Trauma for Blu-ray. A release date has not been announced yet, but supplements will include:
- Audio commentary with FrightFest Guide to Monster Movies author Michael Gingold, Paperbacks From Hell author Grady Hendrix and Temple of Schlock's Chris Poggiali
