BBC Announces "Nature's Most Amazing Events' for Blu-ray

BBC Video has announced a mid-June next-gen arrival for the six-part Discovery Channel series 'Nature's Most Amazing Events,' which will hit Blu-ray as a two-disc set.
Following the success of the BBC's best-selling 'Planet Earth,' the company will release 'Nature's Most Amazing Events' on Blu-ray June 16, day-and-date with a DVD version.
Including all six episodes from the series, the complete 300-minute runtime is spread across two Blu-ray discs, in 1080i video and Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround audio.
There are no announced supplemental features at press time, but we'll keep you posted.
BBC Video has set a suggested list price of $34.98 for the Blu-ray.
