The long-awaited Blu-ray release will come loaded with bonus features this March!
As previously reported, Disney/Buena Vista is working on 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit?: 25th Anniversary Edition' for a Blu-ray release on March 12.
It's 1947 Hollywood and Eddie Valiant (Bob Hoskins) a down-on-his-luck detective, is hired to find proof that Marvin Acme, gag factory mogul and owner of Toontown, is playing hanky-panky with femme fatale Jessica Rabbit, wife of Maroon Cartoon superstar, Roger Rabbit. When Acme is found murdered, all fingers point to Roger, and the sinister, power-hungry Judge Doom (Christopher Lloyd) is on a mission to bring Roger to justice. Roger begs the Toon-hating Valiant to find the real evildoer and the plot thickens as Eddie uncovers scandal after scandal and realizes the very existence of Toontown is at stake! Who Framed Roger Rabbit is deliciously outrageous fun the whole family will enjoy.
The Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 soundtrack, and supplements have yet to be detailed but will include: Digitally Restored Roger Rabbit Shorts: Tummy Trouble, Roller-Coaster Rabbit and Trail Mix-Up; Feature Audio Commentary; Behind the Ears: The True Story; Who Made Roger Rabbit?; On Set! Benny the Cab; Before & After Split-Screen; Toon Stand-Ins; Deleted Scene: Pig's Head; Toontown Confidential Feature Trivia Track; The Valiant Files: Interactive Set-Top Gallery; and Theatrical Trailer.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $26.50.
