Ho! Ho! Ho! The first two family holiday comedies will be available individually or part of a new trilogy boxed set this October.
In an early announcement to retailers, Disney/Buena Vista has scheduled 'The Santa Clause' and 'The Santa Clause 2' for Blu-ray on October 16.
The Santa Clause Trilogy gift set will also be available on the same date.
The family films star Tim Allen as an ordinary Joe who inherits Santa's gig after accidentally killing the real good ol' St. Nick.
Specs have yet to be revealed, but 'The Santa Clause' will include: "So You Wanna Be An Elf?" featurette, Making Santa Snacks With Wolfgang, and "The Night Before Christmas" Short. 'The Santa Clause 2' will include: 7 Deleted Scenes, Gag Reel - Bloopers From The Cast, "True Confessions Of The Legendary Figures" - Interviews With Tooth Fairy, Mother Nature, Father Time And Easter Bunny, and an audio Commentary With Michael Lembeck.
Suggested list price for each Blu-ray is still undetermined at this time.
