'The Universe - 3D' Announced for Blu-ray 3D

The History Channel documentary will be coming to Blu-ray 3D in November.

In an early announcement to retailers, A&E will be bringing 'The Universe - 3D' to Blu-ray 3D on November 13.

Take an exhilarating, unprecedented 3D tour of the Universe in this amazing set. The planets of our solar system have experienced epic catastrophes throughout their long history, both raining down from outside and bubbling up from within. We'll voyage back in time to investigate the violent events that profoundly shaped the planets, including earth itself. There's no word on tech specs yet, but suggested list price for the set is $79.95.
