The action-packed sequel will take its revenge on Blu-ray this January.
In an early announcement to retailers, 20th Century Fox will be bringing 'Taken 2' to Blu-ray on January 15.
Based on a script by Luc Besson ('Léon') and Robert Mark Kamen ('The Fifth Element,' 'Kiss of the Dragon'). Kidnapping action thriller sequel starring Maggie Grace and Liam Neeson. Murad (Rade Serbedzija), the father of a kidnapper killed by retired CIA operative Bryan Mills (Neeson) in the first film, makes a bid for retribution by taking Mills and his wife (Famke Janssen) hostage in Istanbul. Now their daughter, Kim (Grace), must swing into action and act swiftly to save her parents.
The Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack will include both the Unrated and Theatrical Cuts of the film in 1080p, with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtracks, and supplements will include: Black Ops Field Manual and Kill Counter, Tools of the Trade, Deleted and Extended Scenes, Alternative Ending, and FX Piece.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $39.99.
