The acclaimed independent film has been delayed, and will now be exclusively available at Target.
As previously reported, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment had planned 'Mao's Last Dancer' for Blu-ray on March 29, but now that date has been pushed to May 3 without any reason provided for the delay.
Based on an inspiring true story, this emotionally powerful crowd-pleaser follows the journey of an ambitious Chinese dancer as he leaves his homeland to follow his dreams and risks his life for love.
The Blu-ray will be a Target retailer exclusive and feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and the only supplement will be The Making of Mao's Last Dancer.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $29.99.
