The Director's Cut will include DLC, GamePad enhancements, and even reworked boss battles.
'Deus Ex: Human Revolution' was an instant success back when it was released in August 2011. The game's art style, skill progression, and light touch of noire managed a massive fan base and critical kudos. Square Enix has now officially announced 'Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut' for the Wii U. While the original game was released for the 360, PS3, PC and even for the Mac, this new version for the Wii U will have some considerable updates.
Not only will the game contain the 'Missing Link' DLC and pre-order mission 'Tong's Rescue,' but will also have a New Game+ mode. The title is being developed by Straight Right, who recently worked on the Wii U port of 'Mass Effect 3,' and is being overseen by Eidos Montreal.
The Director's Cut will also feature in-game developer's commentary, improvements to AI behavior and a few visual upgrades. (Better sewers!) The game will also have reworked boss battles with deliberate solutions for stealth and hacker based character builds.
GamePad features include touch-screen hacking, interactive map editing, augmented sniping, grenade throwbacks, and skill-tree interactivity. The game is said to also feature heavy Miiverse integration. Square Enix has also stated that this 'Director's Cut' version is exclusive to the Wii U.
'Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut' for the Wii U is scheduled for May 7th.
