The new monitor can display four separate Full HD resolution clients.
Dell has announced the release its latest monitor. The P4317Q is a multi-client monitor designed for use with financial traders and software developers, offering the benefits of a multiple monitor setup within a single large display.
"As the top monitor brand in the world for three years and in North America for 16 years running, we want to show our commitment to our customers by teaming directly with those who would benefit most from this monitor, specifically financial traders and software developers," said Bert Park, vice president and general manager, Dell Global Software and Peripherals. "The Dell 43 Multi-Client Monitor is a truly unique display that meets the diverse and dynamic needs of financial traders and software developers while also demonstrating ever-growing boundaries of innovation Dell is pushing."
The display features a 43 inch IPS panel with a 16:9 aspect ratio and an Ultra HD resolution of 3840 x 2160. The multi-client design allows users to display up to four Full HD independent clients in a single split-screen view, or switch between four independent systems in a full screen view. This allows financial users the freedom to view and zoom in on spreadsheets, financial models, or stock data in one place through side by side or quad screen viewing. Likewise, developers can use the multi-client feature to view multiple pages of source code side by side. In addition, the P4317Q uses a matte finish to reduce glare and strain, a brightness level of 350 cd/m2 (typical), and a contrast ratio of 1000:1 (typical).
Dell's P4317Q 43 inch Multi-Client Monitor is now available for $1,350.
