The title wasn’t revealed but it will be based on an existing franchise.

If you haven’t heard of Southend Interactive, you’re not alone. They’ve made a few games, but nothing that’s really set them apart aside from the cult hit ‘XIII’ back in 2003. They’re a competent developer though, and have been tapped by ‘Dead Island’ publisher Deep Silver to work on a new game.

Deep Silver hasn’t revealed just what that game will be yet, but it will be something you’ve heard of before. “Southend is responsible for the development of a new multiplatform game, based on one of Deep Silver's already existing and popular brands,” says an announcement from the company.
