Criterion has announced addition to their line of Blu-ray classics, confirming a late-April arrival for 'In the Realm of the Senses.'
Considered one of the original erotic classics, 'In the Realm of the Senses' will make its high-def debut on April 24.
Tech specs feature a BD-50 dual-layer presentation with 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video (1.66:1) and the original Japanese mono mix in uncompressed PCM.
Extras include a new audio commentary with film scholar Tony Rayns, extensive new and vintage interviews with cast & crew, deleted footage, the domestic theatrical trailer, and a booklet with a film essay by Japanese film scholar Donald Richie.
Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $39.95.
