One of the most acclaimed documentaries of 2010 comes to Blu-ray in April.
In an early announcement to retailers, Cinema Guild says their first foray into the Blu-ray market will be 'Marwencol' on April 12.
Selected as the “Best Reviewed Documentary of 2010” by Rotten Tomatoes; winner of numerous awards, including the Grand Jury prize at SXSW, two Independent Spirit Awards, and Best Documentary from the Boston Society of Film Critics; and named to over two dozen 2010 ten best lists, including New York Magazine, Boston Globe, Slate and many others, Jeff Malmberg’s 'Marwencol' was one of the most talked about documentaries of last year.
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 soundtrack, and supplements will include: Seven Additional Marwencol Story Sequences; Deleted Scenes; Mark’s Reaction to the Film; Mark at the “Red Carpet” Premiere; Stills Gallery; Theatrical Trailer; Introduction by film critic Elvis Mitchell; and Collectible Marwencol mini-print by Mark Hogancamp.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $34.95.
