The PC version boasts of visual enhancements of the 2010 title.
'Castlevania: Lords of Shadow' polarized audiences when it came to the 360 and PS3 back in 2010. While fans of the game look forward to a full 3D sequel that has been promised for both consoles and the PC, PC gamers can start at the beginning with the Ultimate Edition of 'Castlevania: Lords of Shadow.'
The game began its as original IP from Mercury Steam, and only later was converted into a Castlevania title. The 3D actioner has shades of both 'God of War' gameplay and Hideo Kojima cutscenes. Despite its tenuous 'Castlevania' aspects, the game carries the somewhat dubious distinction of being the best 3D 'Castlevania' ever.
The Ultimate edition will include the Reverie and Resurrection DLC, making it a complete version of the game. Likewise, the PC version "boasts enhanced 1080p HD graphics, runs at a solid 60 frames per second via recommended spec, and offers trophy integration through Steam with Cloud saving."
The PC version is expected to release August 27th on Steam and in retail versions.
