The folks at Krell, who specialize in high end gear, will be launching new in-wall speakers in early September.
If you're not familiar with the CEDIA Expo, think of it as a Consumer Electronics show designed for the folks with a whole lot of money to throw around. It's where crazy looking speakers that cost as much as a car have a home, and where dropping a few grand on the latest and greatest is no big deal at all.
Krell is a maker with a strong appeal for that market and they're about to get even more exciting for custom installers. The company will be debuting their first architectural speaker line, the Modulari Ion. It's a in-wall speaker that's also designed to look good enough to hang on a wall.
One other particularly interesting new product from Krell is a high-end soundbar - sounds like an oxymoron doesn't it? - that they're working on now.
