Two Blu-ray editions of the hit miniseries from the mind of Stephen King are planned for Blu-ray this November.
As previously reported, 'Under the Dome' as well as a 'Limited Collector's Edition' for a release sometime in the coming months, and Paramount now says the official date will be November 5.
Based on the Stephen King novel of the same name, 'Under the Dome' follows the story of a community in Maine that gets cut off from the rest of the world when a mysterious force field forms around the town.
The premiere episode which debuted on CBS on June 24 (with 13.5 million viewers) is available to stream for free at Amazon. However, if you're an Amazon Prime member, all episodes will be available to stream for free to Prime members four days after their premiere over the air. Non-Prime members will be able to purchase individual episodes for an undetermined price.
Specs and supplements have yet to be revealed, but the Collector's Edition will come packaged inside a cool mini post-dome replica of Chester's Mill.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is set at $64.99, while the Collector's Edition is $99.99.
