The cult adult vampire film originally slated for a December release won't be rising from its coffin until February.
As previously reported, Blue Underground was planning to unleash the 'Daughters of Darkness' on Blu-ray on December 21, but now the new date appears to be February 22, 2011.
The film stars Delphine Seyrig ('Last Year at Marienbad') as Countess Elizabeth Bathory and Goth goddess Andrea Rau as her beautiful young "companion."
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio Mono soundtrack, and supplements will include: Audio Commentary #1 With Co-writer/Director Harry Kümel; Audio Commentary #2 with Star John Karlen and Journalist David Del Valle; Locations of Darkness – Interviews with Co-Writer/Director Harry Kümel and Co-Writer/Co-Producer Pierre Drouot; Playing the Victim – Interview with Star Danielle Ouimet; Daughter of Darkness – Interview with Star Andrea Rau; Theatrical Trailer; and Radio Spots.
