Irrational Games says that they need more time to make it the game that it needs to be.
We've been waiting quite a while since the announcement of 'BioShock Infinite' and it's just been announced that we'll be waiting even longer. The game has been pushed from its original October 2012 release date to February 26, 2013.
"BioShock Infinite is a very big game," says Irrational Games co-founder and creative director Ken Levine. "We're doing things that no one has ever done in a first-person shooter."
Levine adds that there were similar delays with the original 'BioShock,' because "the Big Daddies weren't the Big Daddies you've since come to know and love. Because Andrew Ryan's golf club didn't have exactly the right swing. Because Rapture needed one more coat of grimy Art Deco."
