It's coming in at $50, but considering you'll be getting five expansion packs with it, it's a pretty slick setup.
Reuters has confirmed it , 'Battlefield 3' fan site Battlefieldo has dug up the details, and we're happy to say that Battlefield Premium is actually looking good.
Battlefield Premium will run you $50 and nets you a nice chunk of in-game content. For starters, you'll get all of the upcoming expansion packs as part of that price. PS3 owners will get access two weeks earlier thanks to a timed exclusivity deal.
You'll also get unique dog tags, camos, layers and more things to customize your experience. You'll be able to save up to five of your favorite battle reports and you can reset your stats as you see fit. There will also be exclusive events and a few other surprises in store.
The new service for 'Battlefield 3' is designed around the hardcore player – the guy who's going to pick up every map pack and probably play 'Battlefield 3' to the exclusion of other shooters. If you're the kind of person that's going to be picking up all the map packs anyway, this is a nice way to save some cash and get a few perks while you're at it.
