Don't get your hopes up too high on the show being good, but on the plus side this could mean that we'll see a new game being developed.
It's not that 'Battlefield: Bad Company' was a game that didn't sell well, or that it was a bad game. It's the fact that the most recent release for the franchise was in March of 2010 that sparks the question of relevancy. Still, despite being a title that's not so fresh in the mind, 'Bad Company' is getting a TV show.
Fox has picked up the rights to develop a series based on EA's game, with Happy Madison producing. Writer John Eisendrath has been tapped to work on the project, which doesn't give us a lot of hope. Eisendrath was the writer and creator of the NBC bomb 'Outlaw' as well as the writer on a few other not-so-impressive shows.
