The price reduction comes just in time for graduation and Father's Day!
Barnes & Noble has announced a price adjustment for its Nook tablet series. The 7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook is now available for $149, which is down $50 from its original MSRP of $199. Likewise, the 10.1-inch model is now available for $279, which is down $70 from its original MSRP of $349.

The Galaxy Tab 4 Nooks feature 1280x800 displays with 216ppi on the 7-inch model and 149ppi on the 10.1-inch model. The devices are powered by 1.2 GHz CPUs and are rated for up to 10 hours of battery life. The 7-inch model offers 8GB of internal storage and the 10.1-inch model offers 16GB. Both versions include a rear 3MP camera and a front 1.3MP camera. Likewise, Wi-Fi and GPS are built-in as well.
In addition to the price cuts, Barnes and Noble is also offering a special trade-in promotion. From May 17 to June 13, customers can trade in their old Nook 1st Edition, Nook Color, Nook Tablet, Nook Simple Touch, Nook Simple Touch with GlowLight, Nook HD, or Nook HD+ to receive a $50 discount on a new Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook.
